I had a fantastic experience here today! If you are looking for incredible plant-based meals, this is the spot. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. The staff went above and beyond to be friendly and helpful, and I completely loved the atmosphere. 10/10

Tbh, I've been wanting to visit this place for ages, but I couldn't find anyone to go with me so today I just decided try it out hy myself. To start off with, the place has super cute, cozy, clean vibes. The staff was very courteous and attentive but not overbearing, which was great. I ordered the street tacos with a side of avocado slices. It came with the usual fixings,plus I was offered crema fresca which was really tasty. I finished everything and left feeling so good and satisfied. The food was delicious, atmosphere was great and the prices were very reasonable. I will DEFO be back here again and encouraging my carnivore friends to do the same!

Truly hidden gem, i always talk to everyone i know about this place! It’s been several times i come and eat here and this place never fails to receive you with a smile and greeting, i came in this morning, dine in, & it’s just an amazing environment to start your morning at! 🫶🏼 i absolutely love this place! May they will forever & ever open!!! ☺️ i’ll include pics of some of the menu items i have gotten! 😋

Maria Cruz truly is a hidden gem in the heart of the RGV. Amazing food at good prices and good portions alongside excellent service is hard to find in the valley. The food is delicious and satiating while remaining light and healthy. The staff are very kind and friendly answering any questions you may have. The Matcha, Breakfast Tacos, Dora Burger and Rice Bowls are some of my personal favorites and easily the best items on the menu. The Matcha alone keeps me coming back. Even as a non vegan every time I dine here I leave full and happy. Maria Cruz is a MUST when in the valley to taste a perfect fusion of Hispanic and Plant Based Cuisine.

When out of town, I try to find a vegan spot for dinner. This place I was willing to try, although it took about an hour to get there from where I was staying, it was definitely worth it. The food was delicious! I ordered three dinners because I was going to be in the area three days. Yes, they held up great in the fridge in my room. The staff member was kind, helpful, and gave me water with cucumber while I waited. I was starving because vegan spots aren't everywhere in that area. Besides, the food wasn't greasy, and it was healthy with nice sized portions. I will definitely return.
